Other Education Staff or Staff Working in Adult Education and Training

Non-educational support staff  is employed in vocational secondary and adult education, e.g. as educational assistant. Tasks are decided in consultation with the teacher(s) concerned. An educational assistant has organizational and guiding tasks:

• organizing school trips;
• collecting teaching material;
• testing pupils;
• guiding pupils;
• class guiding when the teacher is involved in guiding individual or small groups of pupils

Other non-educational staff is employed in organisation, management or administration (staff in multimedia centres, study career counsellors).
