National Reforms in Vocational Education and Training and Adult Learning

2021

The State Institute of Vocational Education (ŠIOV) (SK) presented the „Project ONE“ (SK) for the years 2021 - 2023, the task of which is to improve the quality of adult education. It focuses in particular on counseling services, promotion, active participation of adults in education, as well as verification of non-formal education. Its activities have an international character - they create and interconnect networks of its providers in Italy, Portugal and Slovakia.

Its main activities are:

• mapping examples of good practice in adult education
• organizing mutual Peer Review providers of this type of education
• development, implementation, piloting and evaluation of the Capacity Building Strategy
• support for adult education organizations as well as learners themselves
