On Monday 7 April 2014, the European Commission, together with the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency, will host in Brussels an information meeting for high-level public authorities on European policy experimentations, the new action launched under Key Action 3 – Prospective Initiatives of the Erasmus+ programme.

European policy experimentations under Erasmus+ have to comply with two major requirements:

  • they must be led by high‑level public authorities, who should play a major strategic function in the development and implementation of the projects,
  • the 'field trials' conducted in the framework of the policy experimentations should be based on rigorous evaluation methodologies.

The meeting will specifically address the role of high-level public authorities in this context, on the basis of the 2014 Erasmus+ call for proposals on European policy experimentations.

Individuals following the meeting remotely through web streaming can send their questions using the functional mailbox: EACEA-Policy-Support@ec.europa.eu. If possible, questions will be answered orally during the day of the meeting or by email in the following days.
