These two actions are included in the General Call for proposals and described in detail in the Erasmus+ Programme Guide.

The other actions of the KA1 are managed at decentralised level by the National Agencies.

Applications under this action cannot be made by individual students, staff or volunteers. People wishing to participate in an activity will need to contact one of the organisations receiving support from the Erasmus + programme.  For more information about scholarships please visit this page.

The Erasmus+ Online Linguistic Support (OLS) helps Erasmus+ participants improve their knowledge of the language in which they will work, study or volunteer abroad so that they can make the most of their experience. Click here for more information.

ERASMUS+ VOLUNTEERING INSURANCE

The Erasmus+ Volunteering Insurance  (EVS Insurance) covers the participants in the European Voluntary Service under the Erasmus+ Programme from  the risks listed in the Tender specifications of the EVS Insurance contract  and it is paid by the European Commission. Coverage is to meet necessary medical and health needs for the duration of the volunteer’s activity.

Every volunteer must be enrolled in the Erasmus+ Volunteering Insurance.

EVS volunteers of the EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and EVS volunteers who are nationals of non-EU countries who are legally residing in the EU and covered by a state social security scheme, receive a complementary  coverage over and above to that provided by the European Health Insurance Card and/or national social security systems or any other equivalent insurance the volunteer may have.

For more information please consult the following pages:  European Commission - Employment, Social affairs & Inclusion

Full coverage is granted to volunteers who do not have any coverage from the European Health Insurance Card and/or national social security system or any other equivalent insurance.

The coordinating organisation, in cooperation with the sending and hosting organisations, is responsible for the enrolment of the volunteer. This enrolment must be made before the departure of the volunteer (at the latest 14 days before the departure date) and covers the duration of the activity.

Once enrolled, the volunteer has access to his/her personal EVS insurance webpage where important claim ceilings and exclusions are listed, together with FAQs, details of how to submit a claim and contacts details (e-mail and telephone number) to respond to any doubts regarding the coverage.
