Young people aged between 17 to 30 from a Programme country (except the country where the project is taking place) or from a Partner country neighbouring the EU.
The large scale EVS event project must take place in the Programme Country where the European/international event in the field of youth, culture or sport is held.
Participating organisations are responsible for:
- arranging subsistence, lodging and the local transports of volunteers
- envisaging tasks and activities for volunteers that respect the qualitative principles of the EVS, as described in the EVS Charter
- providing volunteers with task-related, linguistic, personal and administrative support throughout the duration of the EVS activity/event.
A large scale EVS event must involve at least 30 volunteers. The participation in an EVS activity must be free of charge for volunteers, with the exception of a possible contribution for travel costs (if the Erasmus+ grant does not fully cover these costs) and expenses not linked to the implementation of the activity.
A volunteer can only take part in one large-scale EVS event project during the lifetime of the Erasmus+ Programme.
This list includes the participants eligible for EU funding. Please note however that participants cannot submit an application. For the list of organisations that can apply, please refer to the tab 'who can apply'.
