Leonardo da Vinci focuses on vocational education and training, other than at tertiary level. It addresses both the learning and teaching needs in the sector, and is therefore aimed at all parties involved, namely trainees in vocational education, teachers and trainers, institutions and educational bodies, enterprises, associations, social partners and bodies relating to either lifelong learning or the labour market.
Multilateral projects for Development of Innovation
Transnational co-operation projects that aim to improve the quality of training systems through the development of innovative contents, methods and procedures within Vocational Education and Training (VET).
Multilateral networks
The aim of the Thematic Networks is to strengthen the link between the various ‘actors’ involved in vocational training, to improve the quality, European dimension and visibility of activities or issues of common interest in the field of vocational and educational training.
Accompanying measures
Projects may cover communication activities, thematic monitoring of projects and dissemination and exploitation of project results of the Leonardo da Vinci projects.
European Credit Transfer in Vocational Education and Training (ECVET)
The European Credit system for Vocational Education and Training is intended to facilitate the recognition of learning outcomes, in the framework of mobility, for the purpose of achieving a qualification.
The European Quality Assurance Reference framework for Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET)
The European Quality Assurance Reference framework for Vocational Education and Training is a reference instrument to help Member States to promote and monitor continuous improvement of their Vocational Education and Training (VET) systems, based on common European references.

The progress/final reports of the Leonardo da Vinci projects can be found in the ADAM portal.
Please select in the extended search.In the window box "Project type", choose the option "Development of Innovation" or "Networks" or "Accompanying measures".
The portal will search for all centralised projects. Choose a project you are looking for. The reports are in the section "PRODUCTS".
