Introduction

This page provides access to all the documentation needed to make an application under the Centralised parts of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP). For applicants interested in decentralised Actions, please contact the relevant National Agency for your home country and for the Action that interests you. The contact details may be found in the Guide for Applicants on the Commission's website:

In this first year of the LLP, while the transition to the new programme is still taking place, applicants should note that not all the documentation that they will need will be available at one time. As soon as documents become available they will be posted on this page.
 

Information Update

Corrigenda

Since the Call for Proposals was published in December 2006, two Corrigenda have been issued.

• The first, on February 5th, replaces the original text. 2 versions are available: one with Track Changes, in which applicants can identify where the changes have been made, and the second is a clean version (destined for people who have not accessed the initial version).
• The second Corrigendum was issued on February 14th is issued in two parts: the first relates to the Priories in Erasmus, and the second also includes some specific information on Comenius Multilateral Projects involving Initial Teacher training.

Eligible countries for all actions except the Jean Monnet Programme

• Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein:
  Envisaged participation in 2007 - Negotiations are in progress to establish their participation.
   
• Turkey:
  Envisaged participation in 2007 - Negotiations are in progress to establish participation.

Applicants in European Union countries are encouraged to include partner organisations in any of the countries listed above. However, the Commission cannot guarantee that the necessary agreements will be finalised before the selection date for the projects.

As a word of caution for this first year, it is recommended that applicants ensure the presence of partners from the minimum number of Member States  as well as a a partner from one or more of the countries mentioned above. For the minimum number of partners, please refer to the Call for Proposals Part II, Annex I, following the links below.

The Call for Proposals 2007 is published on the website of DGEAC. The call is published in three parts:

• The Official notification (short document published in all official languages)
• The Call for Proposals Part I containing the Priorities for 2007 (published in English, German and French)
• The Call for Proposals Part II containing Administrative and financial information.

The Guide for Applicants

The Guide for Applicants is a web-based publication that includes detailed explanations of the types of project that can be funded, information about preparing budgets and also advice on dissemination and exploitation of results (which is a major theme underpinning all activities in the LLP). The Guide also contains a short overview of the LLP and a chart that helps applicants see were to find actions that were funded in the former programmes.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

To ensure equality of treatment of all applicants, information that has been provided to individual potential applicants is published in the form of FAQs that are accessible to all. These FAQs include explanations of terms that may not be clear to everyone, and also clarify the position regarding any potential misunderstandings of information provided in the various official documents listed above. Applicants are strongly advised to consult these regularly.
