What is it for
This 'business to consumers' measure offers grants to European Platform projects aiming to showcase and promote European young creative and artistic talents and their works, especially emerging ones, through genuine Europe-wide programming. European Platform projects have the ability to anticipate new cultural and creative trends by targeting new opportunities in the Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCS) and by developing new business models and services to increase consumer choice thereby enhancing cultural diversity and structuring effects in the CCS.
A European Platform is a group of cultural and creative organisations (the members) who develop joint activities driven by their common cultural and artistic vision.

Call for proposals EACEA/06/2017 for 2017: Indicative timetable
In 2017, the total available budget for the co-financing of the first year of activities of platform projects under Framework Partnership Agreements is estimated at € 5.5 M.
The maximum duration of the Framework Partnership Agreements is 4 years.
The annual financial contribution of the European Union per platform project cannot exceed € 500.000,00 or 80% of the total eligible costs, whichever is lower. Applicants shall secure the remaining amount from their own resources or via other external funding bodies.
Organisations active in the cultural and creative sectors.
Platforms must be comprised of a minimum 11 organisations: a coordination entity and a minimum of 10 member organisations. Although all these organisations must be legally established in at least 10 different countries participating in the Creative Europe programme, 5 of them must be EU Member States or EFTA countries.
Please consult the updated list of eligible organisations from non-EU countries which provides for an indication of non-EU countries that are likely to fulfil these conditions in time to be eligible for the 2017 round of Calls for Proposals.
