EU-US ATLANTIS Programme for co-operation in Higher Education and Vocational Training / Selection 2010 - Call for Proposals EACEA/31/2009Information notice posted on 10 August 2010 Results of the 2010 selection of Transatlantic Degree Projects, Excellence in Mobility Projects and Policy Oriented Measures Projects. Following the Joint Selection Committee with the American Authorities, the list of proposals recommended for Community funding has been accepted on 9 August 2010. The final list and fact sheets of the projects are provided below. All institutions/applicants participating in this Call for proposals will be informed by the Executive Agency in writing about the detailed results of the evaluation of their applications. This information, including specific comments based upon the opinion of the independent experts, will be communicated individually to successful and unsuccessful applicants. At the same time the Agency will invite selected applicants to complete the formalities necessary for the grant awards to be confirmed via Grant Agreements. EU-US ATLANTIS Programme2010 Call for proposals DescriptionIn The context of the EU-US co-operation in higher education and training a new call has been launched together with the US Department of Education, covering a series of actions - grouped under the common title of "ATLANTIS". The 2010 ATLANTIS Call for Proposals covers the following actions:Transatlantic Degree Consortia Projects For EU institutions, the budget available amounts to approximately EUR 5,5 million. For U.S. institutions comparable funding will be provided. The European Commission will provide funding for the direct use of the EU partners, and the U.S. Department of Education (FIPSE) will provide funding for the direct use of the United States partner(s). |
