External Cooperation Window - Call for Proposals 2007

Mobility activities starting in the academic year 2008-2009

Announcement on the results of selection of the Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window 2nd call for proposals (EACEA/34/07) planned for the second half of June 2008.

As announced in Chapter 3 of the the Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window 2nd call (EACEA/34/07), the award decision was expected to be announced by May. Unfortunately the Agency is not in a position to publish the results considering that, as mentioned in the Notice published in page 2 of the call for proposals, the implementation of the Call is subject to:

1) the adoption of appropriations of the Community budget for 2008 relevant to this action, and
2) the formal approval of the programming documents for the relevant actions and the relevant financing decisions.

The 18 Lots included in the call for proposals are funded by different financial instruments and budget lines (there are 10 financing decisions covering the Call for Proposals ( EACEA/34/07).

The availability of funds depends on the decision voted by the European Parliament and final financing decision by the European Commission College. The results of the selection of candidate proposals will be made official sequentially upon adoption of each financing decision by the European Commission College with regard to the different financing instruments. It is expected that the first announcements are made by the second half of June 2008.
