Available Erasmus Mundus courses and partnerships

1. Erasmus Mundus Joint Programmes:

Follow an integrated Masters Course or Doctoral programme in two or more universities

Candidates from the entire world are eligible to apply for scholarships to all Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degrees and Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorates.

All European students are eligible to apply.

2. Erasmus Mundus partnerships:

Study at partner universities from non-EU countries in a range of disciplines at a range of academic levels

Strand 1

Action 2 partnerships selected in 2014 are offering scholarships to EU nationals to study at a partner university in a non-EU country in the following regions:

  • Iran, Iraq, Yemen
  • Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan
  • China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand
  • Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Mongolia, Vietnam
  • Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan
  • Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay
  • Argentina, Brazil*, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, Panama, Uruguay, Venezuela
  • Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua
  • South Africa

All Action 2 partnerships selected in 2013 are offering scholarships to EU nationals to study at a partner university in a non-EU country in the following regions:

  • Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Libya, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia
  • Russia
  • Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine
  • Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo*, Montenegro, Serbia
  • Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan²
  • Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan
  • Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Mongolia, Vietnam
  • China, India², Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand,

* This designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line with UNSCR 1244 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo Declaration of Independence.

Action 2 partnerships selected in 2012 might still be offering scholarships to EU nationals to study at a partner university in countries in the Neighbourhood region and the Western Balkans:

  • Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Libya, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia
  • Russia
  • Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine

Strand 2

All partnerships selected under Strand 2 can provide mobility to EU nationals to study/research in a non-EU country.
