Call for Proposals 2007 - Selection results

The Agency is pleased to announce the result of the selection Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window 2nd call for proposals (EACEA/34/07)

Following the adoption of the European Commission Financing Decisions for Community funding in the framework of the Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window, the list of awarded selected partnership projects is provided below. Please notice that these decisions do not apply to all Lots (see Notice).
All institutions/applicants participating in this call for proposals will be informed by the Executive Agency in writing about the detailed results of the evaluation of their applications.
This information, including specific comments based upon the opinion of the independent experts, will be communicated individually to successful and unsuccessful applicants. At the same time the Agency will invite selected applicants to complete the formalities necessary for the grant awards to be confirmed via Grant Agreements.

  • For Lot 13 (Asia Lot 2): No partnerships were selected due to the insufficient quality of the project proposals submitted.

  • For Lots 15 (India): The publication of the results is pending upon the signature of the Financing Agreement with the government of Lot 15 (India), the process is expected to be completed in July 2008.

  • For Lot 7 (Yemen Iran, Iraq) and 16 (Brazil): The Agency is not in a position to publish the results for the Lot 7 and Lot 16. As mentioned in the Notice published in page 2 of the call for proposals, the implementation of the Call is subject to:
    1) the adoption of appropriations of the Community budget for 2008 relevant to this action, and
    2) the formal approval of the programming documents for the relevant actions and the relevant financing decisions.
    The 18 Lots included in the call for proposals are funded by different financial instruments and budget lines (there are 10 financing decisions covering the Call for Proposals (EACEA/34/07).
    The availability of funds depends on the decision voted by the European Parliament and final financing decision by the European Commission College. The results of the selection of candidate proposals will be made official sequentially upon adoption of each financing decision by the European Commission College with regard to the different financing instruments.
    The Commission Financing decision is expected to be adopted in July 2008.
