Strand 1.3: Cooperation Projects with Third countries (lasting up to twenty four months)

We remind you that only the submission through the on-line application will be accepted.

Please note that every different deadline date than 05/05/2010 settled in this web-site or in any other document is obsolete.

 

Eligible third countries - Budgetary Year 2010:

N° 1855/2006/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2006.

The special action in 2010 is open for EU Neighbourhood countries which have concluded association or cooperation agreements with the Community and ratified the 2005 UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.

The eligible third countries are: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Georgia, Jordan, Moldova, occupied Palestinian Territory, Tunisia and Ukraine

Please note that Azerbaijan and Ukraine has been added as from the first of March as they have signed the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions

Application procedure

The Executive Agency has developed a new on-line submission tool.

Please read the instructions on how to apply with the new electronic form (referred to as the "eForm" below).

You will find hereunder all relevant documents for the Strand 1.3.

Step 1 - Download the new electronic form (referred to as the "eForm" below).

You need to have the Adobe Reader version 8.1.5 or higher installed on your computer in order to able to download and complete the eForm. If you don't have it on your computer, please click here to download the latest version of Adobe Reader.

Step 2 - Fill in and submit the eForm

In order to fill in your application eForm properly:

- please read carefully the Instructions for applicants. pdf en
It contains useful information concerning the content of your application.

It contains useful technical information.

The following annexes will have to be attached to the e-forms and submitted on-line at the same time:

1/ the detailed description of the project, in word or pdf format. This is a free document.
2/ pdf the signed Declaration of honour (you should sign, scan and attach the document)
3/ excel the Budget form enfrde

Then submit your application eForm on-line before 05/05/2010 12:00 CEST*.

 

Step 3 - Send the paper version of your application to the Executive Agency.

Send before 05/05/2010* your application package (printed copy and additional documents) to the Executive Agency containing:

1/ an official cover letter signed by the coordinator

2/ one printed copy of the submitted eForm

3/ One copy of each printed annex to the eForm (the detailed description of the project, the signed Declaration of honour (you should sign, scan and attach the document) and the Budget form)

Add the following annexes (which therefore can only be submitted in paper version):

4/ the cooperation agreement signed by coordinator, all the coorganisers and the partner(s) in the third country (this is a free document and no model is provided by the Executive Agency)

5/a mandate for each coorganiser, conferring powers of attorney to the coordinating organisation to be downloaded from this website:

6/ an activities report for all partner organisations covering the past two years (this a free document and no model is provided by the Executive Agency)

7/ Curriculum Vitae of the persons responsible for the implementation of the action

8/ the Legal Entity Form (for the coordinator only)

9/ the Financial Identification Form (for the coordinator only)

10/ the financial Capacity Form (for the coordinator only)

11/ copy of the official accounts of the coordinator for the last financial year for which the accounts have been closed (Balance sheets and Profit/Loss accounts)

You must send all the documents by post mail at the latest on 05/05/2010 (dated as marked in the postmark) to the Executive Agency, at the following address:

Documents can be sent:
- by post
- by express courier service
- delivered in person by applicants themselves, not later than 16:00 on 05/05/2010*.

* Please note that the 1st of May is a public holiday in most European countries and the Commission offices are closed. For more information please read "How to apply".

Information concerning Ukraine

Ukraine will be eligible as a third country for strand 1.3 "Cooperation Projects with third Countries" of the Culture Programme (2007-2013) as from the registration of its signature of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and the Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. This registration is envisaged for February 2010. Please refer to this website to have an update on this item. Consequently, applications that include Ukraine as a third country partner may be eligible for the next deadlines of the strands 1.3 (05/05/2010).
