As from 16 September 2008, the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) has taken over responsibility for the European-level activities of the network and welcomed a new European Eurydice unit. Eurydice is part of the Lifelong Learning programme managed by the Executive Agency.
